The Kabini Forest Reserve, associated with Nagarahole National Park, is a destination of Karnataka. Spread over 55 acres of area, on the banks of Kabini river, famous for sigtings of herds of elephants. The forest previously was under the jurisdiction of the Maharaja of Mysore. British administrators along with royal families of Mysore used the forest at hunting spot.
In recent days it is considered as one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka. famous for its spectacular wildlife and bird life.
