Chennai (previously known as Madras) is a common destination for the tourists who are travelling to Southern India. Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu, India and is one of the four metros in India and the largest one in Southern India.

Vivekananda House- Vivekananda house or Vivek Illam is a museum in Chennai and is considered as an important location by the follower of SwamiVivekanand. It is treated as a pilgrimage as Swami Vivekananda stayed at this place after returning from the West in 1897. The place is considered to be the holy place of the tourists as here Swami Vivekananda stayed after having returned from his visit to the west in 1897.

Parthsarthy Temple-This temple was initially constructed by the Pallava kings during the 8th century, they were decorated and planned under Vijayanagar Empire in the 26th century. It is located in Triplicane, abeach in Chennai , a famous harbor,the beautiful arched gateway and with attractive architectural design.

KAPALEESHWAR TEMPLE-This temple was built in the 13th century, and is considered as a stunning work of art of the Dravidian architectural plan.

Dance and Music Festival: Known as 'Margazhi Festival of Dance and Music', the South Indian Classical form of music and dance (also called as the Carnatic Music and the classical dance) is held during December to  January  in the city. The occassion attracts performing art enthusiasts from all over the country.  Pongal: Pongal, the harvest festival of South India, is one of the major festivals celebrated in the Chennai city of India celebrated in the month of January. The festival marks the announces the end of the  farming season and welcomes the new beginning. 

Chennai has its own International (Anna Terminal) as well as Domestic airport (Kamaraj Terminal) and very well connected with all the mejor cities of the country and abroad.
