Rajaji National Park at an average elevation of 300 to 1350 mts is situated within the region of Shivalik eco-system.
In the lap of Shivalik ranges the park (820 dq kms) with it’s magnificent ecosystem is a place of nature lovers. It is famous for its floraog different forest zones. A good number of species of mammals and fauna are available here. The Rajaji National Park is named after Late Shri C. Rajgopalachari, popularly known as Rajaji.
Animals including elephants, leopard, Sambhar Cheetal, Barking Deer, sloth Bear, languor, etc and birds of wide variety including several species of migratory birds in winter season are the attractions of the National Park.
Jeep safaries are offered for 3 hrs each time in morning and evening from sunrise to sunset twice everyday inside park.
