This enchanting valley is situated at an altitude of 3,658 meters in the deep Himalayas. Valley of Flowers lies at Bhyundar Valley in the Garhwal Himalayan ranges of Uttaranchal (District- Chamoli), India. The Valley was introduced to the world as the Valley of Flowers by Frank S, Smith - mountaineer, explorer, botanist who camped here for several weeks in the monsoon of 1937.
