This forest is considered to be the largest deer park in the world. It covers around 34.52sqkms of space with farm fields in the south and the sea in the north. This huge forest is famous for the Blackbuck Deer which is found in large numbers in this national park. Not only known for its appearance, this deer is the second fastest animal in the world. This beautiful species looks more beautiful when they gallop in the park by floating their body in the air. They run at around 80kmph.
Here in this national park there are 95 types of trees, 100 different breeds of birds, 14 types of animals and 7 types of reptiles.
From the month of August to April this national park becomes the world’s largest Harrier Roosting area. Here people will come across the Monte goose Harrier, Marsh Harrier, Pallid Harrier and Hen Harrier.
