Our Homestay is located in a large green region of the property. The setting itself is soothing to the eyes. The area is completely engulfed in the white splendour of orchids in lovely clay pots. Throughout the area, there is a sense of purity and freshness.
The stay’s rooms are breathtakingly wonderful. Every room is complete in itself, with televisions, adjoining bathrooms with geysers, and other necessities. The balcony contributes to the lively atmosphere in the apartments. The view from the balcony, which offers a vast panorama, is breathtaking. Along the flowing river stream, a full area of the village can be seen. And it’s tough to put into words how beautiful it is.
Travellers visiting the area can take advantage of some unique amenities provided by the homestay. They provide camping along the river and permit fishing in the river. Mr Sanjay Manjer, who looks after the tourists, is quite kind and welcomes a helping hand in the kitchen.

Local attractions such as the Blue Pine Jungles of Dowhill, Giddah Pahar Sita Ram Mandir, Giddha Pahar Durga Mata Mandir, Eagle’s Craig, widely dispersed English schools, and, of course, the great lengths of green tea estates may all be visited from Kurseong.
Tourists can explore the nearby hill villages of Chatakpur, Sonada, Baramangwa, and Chota Mangwa

How to reach Kurseong

Kurseong is well connected to the nearby New Jalpaiguri railway station and Bagdogra Airport. The distance from NJP railway station or Siliguri is about 47 kilometres, while the distance from Bagdogra Airport is about 53 kilometres. Darjeeling town is roughly 32 kilometres away from Kurseong. Several shared autos and jeeps are available for trips up to Darjeeling, with one stopping in Kurseong along the way. You can also hire a full automobile and have it drop you off in Kurseong.

About Kurseong

The name of this charming tiny town near Darjeeling has a definite meaning. Innumerable white orchids can be found on Kurseong’s hill slopes, giving the environment a bright and lovely appearance. Kurseong, a hill station around 30 kilometres from Darjeeling, is called locally “Kharsang.” Kharsang translates to ‘Land of White Orchids’ in Lepcha. Kurseong is a town and municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal’s Darjeeling district.

It serves as the Kurseong subdivision’s headquarters. Kurseong is located at a height of around 4864 feet and is surrounded by numerous Pine, Birch, and Fir trees.
Kurseong is a peaceful hill station located on the Siliguri-Darjeeling highway. Most of the year, the weather in Kurseong is milder and more pleasant. Kurseong used to be known as Kharsang, which means “immovable beginnings of the early morning” in Nepali. In 1880, the first toy train came to Kuseong, drawing the attention of the rest of the world to this small town. The white orchid “Kurson Rip” is a common species in Kurseong.
