Our resort, which is located on the Jaldhaka River, is ideal for travellers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The resort is stretched out across a broad area and includes a flower garden, cabins, and a structure.
This is an undoubtedly excellent site to stay, with spectacular views of the mountains and the Jaldhaka River right in front of the resort. At the same time, the rooms are quite pleasant and big. These rooms all have private bathrooms.
The resort is ideal for couples and large family groups, with four and six-bed accommodations and other amenities.

Attractions
The tourism industry in the Jhalong – Bindu – Paren – Jaldhaka region is still in its infancy. The location is typically visited by tourists as part of a day trip. Typical tourist attractions are also underdeveloped. For some, this may be a turnoff, but for others, it is the area’s main draw. In the highlands, you may stroll for kilometres without encountering other visitors. You may have the opportunity to meet with locals who have not yet been spoilt by mass tourists. You could sit on a rock overlooking the Jaldhaka River for the entire day. Alternatively, you may spend the entire day at your eco-resort reading and sipping Darjeeling tea. The Jhalong region is still relatively undeveloped and provides a treasure trove of natural beauty at its finest.
Around Jhalong, you may go bird viewing, short treks to Todey and Tangta, angling in the Jaldhaka river, village excursions, cultural displays, and so on.
Since the Gorumara woodlands became a prominent tourist attraction, Jhalong has grown in popularity as a day trip destination for Gorumara visitors. The distance from Lataguri is around 50 kilometres, and it takes approximately 2 hours to travel one way. A day excursion to the Jhalong region is included in most of our Gorumara tour packages.
Jhalong is now quite popular with adventurers and people who like to spend their vacations in nature. Jhalong is located in the Himalayan foothills and offers a variety of recreational opportunities. The nearby Bindu Dam draws a variety of hill and migratory birds. The main paths run to Tangta and Todey, and trekking is a popular pastime in the area

How to reach Jhalong

Jhalong is 95 kilometres from New Jalpaiguri station, 40 kilometres from New Mal Jn., 91 kilometres from Hashimara, 128 kilometres from Alipurduar Junction, 130 kilometres from New Alipurduar, and 104 kilometres from Bagdogra airport. Jhalong is 113 kilometres from Kalimpong and 132 kilometres from Darjeeling. All of the sites mentioned have cabs and Jeeps available for Jalong.

About Jhalong

If you’re tired of the monotony of city life and want to venture off the beaten path, Jhalong in the Dooars area is the place to go. It is a lovely town beside the Jaldakha River and is one of the less travelled destinations.
While most people come to Dooars to go on jungle safaris, there is much more to see in the Dooars than just biodiversity. Beautiful panoramas, villages, and valleys provide a fantastic variety and unique taste to your journey. The valleys of Jhalong (also known as Jaldhaka), Paren, and Bindu.
There are three such locations where you may enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife. Jhalong is a lesser-known off-the-beaten-path marvel of the Dooars Himalayan foothills.
In the Kalimpong Sub-division, on the road to Bindu, there is a bank of Jaldhaka. Jaldhaka Hydro electricity Project is a hydroelectricity project in Jaldhaka, Bangladesh.
The Jaldhaka River is a popular tourist destination. The big reservoir offers a fantastic chance for wildlife.
Diverse arrays of highland birds, as well as migrating water fouls, await bird watchers. Some of the species found here are the Eurasian Wryneck, Crested Kingfisher, Brown Dipper, Hodgson’s Redstart, Slaty-backed Forktail, Little Forktail, and Rufous-necked Laughing Thrush.
