The place has become well-known among tourists as the centre of the orange-growing region of the Darjeeling hills. Sittong, however, has much more to offer visitors than oranges. Nature is at its purest, and it has given its bounty on Sittong. Tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of the area without being distracted by the vices of modern tourism because the area is still relatively undeveloped as a tourist attraction. The location is also close to the NJP / Bagdogra arrival point, making it a great place to begin your journey.
