Chuikhim Homestay
Associated Property
Our homestay provides well-sized, clean, and warm rooms with or without connected baths and all necessary amenities. Our homestay is towards the top of the hill that Chuikhim hamlet is built on. It is reachable by automobile. The nearby hilltop is a good vantage point for seeing the Dooars lowlands as well as the hills.
This is a simple Homestay. We provide clean rooms and sanitary cuisine. There are no standard hotel amenities here. Because there is limited opportunity to dine outside in the hamlet, we take all bookings on a full board basis, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening tea and snacks.
Attractions:
Chuikhim village is an excellent location for seeing nature at its most unspoiled. This is not a location to flit from one tourist attraction to another.
This is the spot for a village stroll, for relaxing in the sun on a cold morning while drinking a cup of tea, for searching for the unknown bird that calls from the woods, for chatting with the local villager in the evening and learning about their way of life. The community is located on a hill, and the residents are kind and helpful. Trekking is a common adventurous activity in this area. You may walk from the plains of Bagrakote to here by a woodland and tea garden route. Small day walks surrounding the area include a climb to Yelbong, among other things.
Tourist destinations and attractions in the Chuikhim area include Yelbong, Nimbong, Charkhole, Loleygaon, and Samtahar.
Yelbong is a wooded community around 5 kilometres from Chuikhim. There is a forest road that will lead you there, and walking through the forest is a wonderful experience.
Nimbong – About 8 kilometres from Chuikhim lies the Nimbong hamlet, one of the largest settlements in the area with schools and businesses that is worth a visit.
