Guwahati-Kaziranga-Shillong Itinerary 6 Days/5 Nights
Day 1: Reach Guwahati
Pickup from Guwahati Railway Station/Airport. Check into the Hotel. Post lunch visit ‘Kalakshetra. Take Cruze and in the Evening.
Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga (193 km)
Early morning proceed to Kaziranga National Park. Go for evening Jeep safari.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga to Shillong (252 km)
Take morning Elephant safari at Kaziranga National Park. Post breakfast drive to Shillong.
Overnight in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunji (60 km). The beautiful waterfall Noh-ka-likai is at Cherrapunji. Explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee. Visit Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Return to Shillong, en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.
Stay overnight in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong to Guwahati (99 km)
Visit Mawlynnong village- Asia’s cleanest village declared in the year 2003.
After lunch leave for Guwahati. Enroute Visit Umiam Lake.
Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 6: Drop for Onward destination
If time permits do Sightseeing in Guwahati covering State Museum, Umananda Temple and visit to Emporiums for ethnic local products.
Drop at Guwahati rly stn/airport for return journey.
