Description
Associate Property:
Our homestay is located in the picturesque town of Jayanti, on the banks of the Jayanti River. Because of its location, cuisine, hospitality, and lodging, we recommend this resort.
This three-story resort includes a riverfront deck. It’s a bit out of the way from the village bus stop, so there’s some solitude. The lush Buxa forest surrounds it, while the front view of Jayanti Hills and the river adds to the uniqueness of the experience. Well Known in Jayanti for its hospitality, food and services. Car parking space available.
Attractions:
One of the most popular activities for visitors to Jayanti is going on a safari through the lush forests. The surge of excitement as you walk through the woodland pathways and see a variety of species is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Jeeps and automobiles may be rented from your hotel or the main office in Rajabhatkhawa. They supply you with a car as well as forest guides who will show you around in the safest way possible. They’ll take you to places in the forest where you can witness a variety of animals. You may also go for nature walks around the paths to get closer to nature.
Around Jayanti Village, there are many wonderful sites to visit that may be explored in a short or medium amount of time by hiking. Buxa Fort is a renowned tourist site for all types of visitors. Rover’s point, 3 kilometres ahead of Buxa fort, is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Hard hikers might continue for another 6 kilometres to Roopam Valley or Rupang Valley, which is on the Bhutanese border.
By walking 5 kilometres from Buxa fort, you may reach Lepchakhawa, a tiny yet picturesque valley. Adventure-seeking hikers may go on a 13-kilometre journey from Buxa fort to Jayanti hamlet, passing through deep woodland. However, prior written authorization from the forest department and the companionship of an expert guide are necessary to enjoy the path.
Pokhri Hill, in the Buxa Tiger Reserve, is a 4 kilometre short and simple climb from Jayanti hamlet.
From Jayanti, tourists may also visit Chilapata Forest and the Khayerbari Leopard Rescue Centre, as well as, Totopara, and Phuentsholling.
