Our guesthouse is a family-run establishment located in Mankhim’s viewpoint. There are four modest cottage-style rooms, plus a cottage on the outskirts (also called Glass House).
In Mankhim, our partner homestay offers pleasant and friendly lodging. Heaven Valley Homestay is a basic and clean place that gives the warmth of Sikkimese hospitality. All of the rooms are equipped and well-kept. The rooms have a view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The guesthouse provides a 360-degree view of the Himalayas. The owner and his family are quite pleasant and helpful, and they provide home-cooked Sikkimese delicacies. Food is created from scratch and tested. There is automobile parking available.

Mankhim is a mountaintop near Aritar, a renowned tourist attraction known for its Lampokhari Lake. Mulkarkha Lake Trip is the Himalayan foothills’ most unexplored trek. Mulkarkha Lake’s babbling waters reflect the magnificence of the surrounding mountains, making this a wonderful trek to make when visiting Mankhim Temple. Lampokhari Lake, shaped like a foot, is another popular tourist attraction in the area. The serene and clear flowing waters of the lake are great for boating while observing the surrounding lush green forest of Pine and Fir trees. The Aritar Monastery, where superb Buddhist artwork, antique buildings, and age-old texts may be seen, is a sincere visit for peace seekers. Hattipailay, a neighbouring settlement with elephant tracks on the rocks, is well worth a visit.
From Makhim to Lampokhri, there is a beautiful forest route that runs through the hills, stopping at numerous viewpoints. You may take a nature stroll along this route to Lampokhri Lake and lunch at Love Dara, a popular picnic spot near Mankhim. The location is also great for serious bird watchers. Lampokhari Lake is a must-see and well-known tourist destination in this area. The form of this lake, which resembles a human foot, is an essential feature. The lake, which is surrounded by a rich green forest of Pine and Fir trees, is ideal for a relaxing paddle boating excursion over its serene waters.
How to Reach:
The nearest airport is Bagdogra, and the nearest railway station is New Jailpaiguri (NJP), both of which are easily accessible by vehicle and taxi. Mankhim is around 125 kilometres from Siliguri and will take approximately 5 hours to reach via Teesta bazaar, Pedong, Rhenock, and Aritar. You may alternatively travel to Mankhim from Gangtok, which takes around 3 hours and covers a distance of about 68 kilometres through Ranipool – Rangpo – Pedong – Aritar.
