Rishyap Homestay

Rishyap Homestay

Do you wish you could live on the highest mountain and have a bird’s-eye perspective of the magnificent planet below? If you arrange a vacation in North Bengal, you may almost live out your fantasies. Our Rishop homestays are excellent for spending time in the lap of Mother Nature.
This evergreen settlement offers a magnificent perspective of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga. Rishop’s attractiveness is triggered by the virgin site with rows of trees and rhododendrons. One of the primary attractions is a little village in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal. There are legends around this name
Rishyap is a tiny town nestled in the Eastern Himalayas at an elevation of 8500 feet. In addition, the hamlet is adjacent to Neora Valley National Park.
‘Ri’ refers to a mountain top, and ‘shop’ refers to an ancient tree. Rishop, also known as Rishyap, is a tiny yet famous tourist destination. Rishyap’s appeal stems from the pure magic of living in a hill town surrounded by singing birds and waking up with a view of the majestic Kanchenjunga. The blue mountains on its side, as well as the snow-covered summits that rise at regular intervals, are worth seeing. Rishop also has several undiscovered florae, deep valleys, and trekking spots. The ideal months to visit this charming tiny village are February, June, July, and October through January.

    Description

    Property:
Rishop may be reached by travelling through Algarah’s hilly roads towards Rikisum and then crossing a distance of 4 kilometres on rocky roads. And here, on the highest point of the hill, is the homestay. The Sylvan Homestay, which is located at such a high height, provides an incredible perspective of the area, which is well-known among travellers. Sylvan, surrounded by a beautiful flower garden with bees and butterflies buzzing around, is quite relaxing to the mind. And the city dwellers are losing their access to this beautiful perspective of nature.
The colourful flags floating in the breeze in front of the homestay, the colourful garden, and the homestay’s architecture contribute to the charm. The interior of the hotel is also quite refreshing and calming, much like the environment outdoors. The stay’s rooms will not fail to bring a grin to its visitors’ faces. Every room of the stay has necessities such as a closet, a modest seating area, and a television. The bathrooms are very tidy and connected to the bedrooms.
    Attractions:
Tiffindara (Dara = Hilltop in the local language) is a spot with spectacular Himalayan views. Sherpa Dara is a different name for the same location. The hilltop is less than a kilometre away from Rishyap and may be accessed on foot.
Tourists come to Rishyap for its natural beauty and scenery more than local sightseeing because there are few sightseeing possibilities. You can, however, take a day excursion to the neighbouring attractions. Lava, Rikisum, Pedong, Lolegaon, and Kolakham are also close tourist spots. All of these destinations are easily accessible from Rishyap and may be visited in a couple of days. Because Rishop sits on the outskirts of the Neora Valley National Park, nature lovers may enjoy a nature walk through the lovely green forest, which is home to a variety of birds and vegetation, including several rare animal species. From Rishyap, tourists may take tours to Lava Lolegaon, Kolakham, and Charkhole.
