    Our Rolep guesthouse is traditional in style and situated on the riverbank. All of the rooms in our homestays offer lovely comfortable mattresses, attached western bathrooms with hot water, and beautiful views. Some of the rooms in the traditional homestays are built of wood and indigenous materials, but they are fully equipped with contemporary facilities. The food is freshly prepared and served hot, and it is mostly Indian, with Chapatis, Puri-Sabjis, and chicken dinners. Momos and other Sikkimese foods are generally offered in the evenings. The property is located in the valley’s middle, next to a creek.

    Attractions:
    In Rolep, you may test your fishing abilities by catching trout in the Shokey Khola River or getting soaking at the 45-foot-high Buddha waterfall. You may also go on village walks to learn more about living in peace with the environment, as well as go bird watching in the woodlands.

The watershed region of Tsongmo Lake is bordered by lush alpine forests. The lake’s shore is scenically gorgeous, with rhododendrons and primulas in full bloom.
    Lampokhari Lake: Also known as Aritar Lake, is one of East Sikkim’s most attractive and well-known tourist destinations. The boot-shaped lake is surrounded by a pine forest from the Himalayan mountains. Boating is feasible on this crystal-clear water.
    Mankhim: On the rim of Lampokhari Lake, Mankhim is a viewpoint. Tourists flock to the viewpoint because it offers stunning views of the enormous Mt. Kanchendzonga as well as an outstanding bird’s eye view of the Lampokhari Lake.

    The nearest railway stations are New Jalpaiguri (NJP), New Mal Jn. (NMZ), and Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Direct car/taxi services are accessible from NJP, Bagdogra, and Siliguri, with a distance of approximately 132 kilometres from Siliguri. Rolep is around 82 kilometres from Kalimpong. Rolep is around 87 kilometres from Gangtok.
